This is the first summer we havn't been around in a few years, and of course, it did pump. The Fanny took down the Baldy in a final dominated by heavy closeouts, However Kelly continues his dominance en route to a 10th world title. They are all headed south now to Supertubos in Peniche, for (hopefully) some brown keg action.
In other contest news, the O'neill cold water classic has begun in one of my favourite places on earth, Vancouver Island. So keep an eye out for more on that.
Home pumped this weekend, in a kind of windy fashion. I spent most of my time bouncing around crusty reefs amid pieces of dispatched surfboards. She's a wafty mistress. Hopefully have some photos up soon.
